The Hal Hinds Memorial Nature Walk for this year will be held at the Miramichi Marsh between 1 and 4 PM on Sunday, October 18. We will gather at the parking lot across the field (lawn) from the beginning of the trail between 12:30 and 1PM. Please be sure to dress for the expected weather as we will go rain or shine.

Owls are among the least know groups of birds in NB. This is mostly because of their nocturnal life style. To be successful with this life style, owls have developed a number of very interesting life history characteristics. From their amazing eyesight to their breeding biology. I will discuss their interesting adaptions and will provide some looks into the private life of owls focusing on Barred owls."
